Susan Mai

Legal Assistant

Susan Mai is a Legal Assistant who began her legal career at a non-profit organization where she provided culturally and linguistically appropriate assistance to marginalized communities. In her current role, she provides robust support to the team and assists with cases from start to finish. She is always working to make each interaction a successful and positive experience for all parties.

Susan grew up in Honduras and moved to Upstate New York in 2009 to pursue her bachelor’s degree at Colgate University. In 2015, she earned her master’s degree in Humanities from The University of Chicago.

As an amateur baker, Susan enjoys making bread and decorating cakes. She and her husband have two small children who keep them on their toes.

Susan is fluent in Spanish, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
